There are a few ways that work a little for me -- but nothing very original -- or effective thus far. I don't expect they'd work for you, necessarily. So I'll save us the boredom. thanx Rod, yes i was quite serious, for i am a student of life and am looking for answers for the strife i have. i know that i am the cause of my own misery and i am searching for ways to alleviate the pain. i know the words but practicing and truly understanding is a different story for me. i so often let my ego rule that i forget about paying attention to my thoughts. staying in the moment seems like an impossibility to me at this point so i am looking for advice on accomplishing this. i guess i would have to ask is what does "one step at a time" mean? ------------------------ Yahoo!
