Thanks for the input. Its been great having you here so far, and I look forward to what you bring. As for the taking "ego" discussion offline -- that isn't the nature of the forum. It is a public forum. (I almost add the word unfotunately). This public exposure is a blessing and a curse. If everyone went private when something conflicting arose, the chances for learning would be decreased I think... I often wish blessing coudl be done in public, and criticism in private but such luxuries are not afforded us who are too poor to be learning face-to-face... Besides its bad netiquette to email someone offlist that doesn't invite it... I do think flaming should be kept to a minimum in case someone is at a point that it is damaging (although Al's is too precious to stifle, IMHO). His flame to me early on was a fresh slap to the face that still makes me laugh. But anyway... Rod

I am new here and have not been involved in the previous discussions so I have no right to speculate on the infighting. However, this group does not belong to two or three people, it is here for all members. And I'm just trying to bring that into perspective. If I've stepped on any tails, I apologize, but I always take care of the whole rather than the few. If you guys want to have heated arguments, why not email each other directly and leave everyone else out of it? Also, please don't join a "streetfighting" Zen group. If you want to further your Zen this is a good spot, I would certainly never ask you to leave. I would only ask you to join the discussion. Hasta llama leik, my brother from another mother, Guy.
