I Love this group because all or many of the posts I've read have been
the most bickering, pernicious ever - and simultaneuous spiritual (or
stoned?) and insightful, such yin and yang in one fell swoop. It seems
the compassion of Buddha often lacking or else overstated, usually one
of the two.. And the most incidious naysayers seem to be the most
learned and or the ones with authority, also fascinating. I like
mackups er, stream of thought, but Rod, um.. I will need a couple days
to study your addition. Good to see people on the Zen road iin general
tho.. and glad I found this crazed group. We should have a party at the
Marriot. Um, ok.. maybe not. Anyways, these are my two more cents as a
still newbie.
The Zen I "studied" was more pedestrian I fear, it's that awful be here
now variety w texts methods theories koans teachers etc. out the
window. I do appreciate the difference Zen persectives everyone seems to
come from. It does seem, everyone is tooo in their head tho, especially
me, here. Peas to all and may the real Zen Master please stand up!

I joined a Zen Group, .. they argued all the time, I took a walk near a
stream to escape. A fish looked at me. I became enlightened.

Impermanence, lack of desire and observing the folly of Dukkha and
Samsara.
