Yes, "Seung Sahn", but why so MUCH coming and going... no flat moutain peak to
stand on and catch my breath. I'm too busy clawing up/sliding down the crumbly
mountain face to see any of the beautiful view... so won't clear mind help me
briefly be the mountain, and have a view of the whole process/climbing/clawing
and the beautiful heavens and valley meeting at the spot of the climber? And
then send this glimpse to the climber so he can take heart in the ceaseless
struggle?

< I'm not going to repeat the experiment you already did > that was
good, you win < havent you got something more inventive?> yes, "Clear
mind is like the full moon in the sky. Sometimes clouds come and cover
it, but the moon is always behind them. Clouds go away, then the moon
shines brightly. So don't worry about clear mind; it is always there.
When thinking comes, behind it is a clear mind. When thinking goes there
is only clear mind. Thinking comes and goes, comes and goes, you must
not be attached to the coming or the going." Seung Sahn
