What you said is true about "It is the *you* which
was created in that experience which arises with the memory of it."
But, I am now seeing that since the person/event remembered is
neither the event nor the person, then it is proper that it should
be forgotten. And while doing this act of 'forgetting' I am
revisiting those pathways in my brain allowing me to re-experience
the events from a detached perspective. This incidentally will
remake the self which emerged simultaneously with the experience and
free it from so-called 'intuitive' responses based upon the
experience/response intertwine. Eventually my self will be remade, I
say remade rather than reborn, because to be reborn is to be wiped
clean of memory; to be 'remade' is rather like storing memories as a
text file rather than as HTML web page complete, and then changing
the hard disk from a FAT16 to a FAT32.
I have heard Sidhartha and Jesus went to 'meditate' for thirty
days... perhaps that is how long it takes to re-experience and to
remake an entire life. Since my life is on hold until this is done,
I shall find out! I am in the process of 'tying up the loose ends'
of my life. I was given a sum of money and along with it a series of
obligations, which I will accomplish within a month. After that I
will go to the forest to live and 'meditate' for what I assume will
be thiry days. If I reach 'enlightenment' I will let you know.
