He will not agree with this interpretation, because he is following
the theravada tradion of buddhism.

(Neutral Milk's posting)

Bikkhu Samahita would probably not do Zen practice at all. In general,
his intention when posting his daily mails might be to remind us about
the roots of (theravada) buddhism. While his last post was indeed
worthwile, I am still worrying about the real intention of these mails.
When asking him, he is simply denying any participation in any ongoing
discussion.

Some mailinglists at Yahoo have been virtually killed by posting these
comments only.
See
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/What_Buddha_Said/messages
or
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Buddha-Direct/messages
as examples. In these mailing lists he is virtually the only (posting)
participant.

Until recently - I thought this ZenForum is a discussion list. Just
asking everybody to keep that in mind.

pointed his finger in the same direction.

I can guarantee you that whatever Bhikkhu Samahita's intentions are
they do not include wanting to enter into any meaningful discussions
about Zen. If he does what I've seen him do to other sites he will
post rheams and rheams of pre-formatted Buddhist scripture clogging
up the site. I only hope he does not drive everyone out of this
forum the way he did on MSN's Buddhist Dharma Forum.

Kind greetings.
Mike

P.S:
Anybody who love to read these sutras could also do some one of the
following options:
A)
daily reading of
http://www.accesstoinsight.org/
B) Subscribe to one of the mailinglists, mentioned above

P.S.2.
"Friendship is the Greatest ..." Friendship does in my view imply to
hear what others have to say. An exchange is implied. Bikkhu Samahita,
please keep that in mind or otherwise you will end up as a daily
buddhist text robot.
