You're right, enso (The Zen circle) is the Zen symbol for emptiness. In terms
of
the kanji for "mu", check out this site

Technically, it's a 12 stroke character (I don't think you'll be able to
discern the
stroke order by just looking at a character ). IF you're serious about Japanese
calligraphy, the stroke order of a character is important. You might want to
invest in a stroke order dictionary/book.
