I just can't let that go. Sounds too anti-intellecutal.

I like philosophy - it's an attempt at clear thinking to consider
the world both as a whole and in parts. 

People could use a lot more of rational analysis and critical
questioning. Things might not be in such a mess.

Philosophy isn't a concern to hardly anyone, anyway. Most of what
we do is based on irrational thinking - desires, anger, guilt,
wishful thinking, and so on. Seems Zen needs to address that,
rather than an honest attempt to use the mind well.
