Jaume, As far as generating the CSR and creating an SSL certificate, it doesn't matter where you do it as long as the result is a PEM file that contains the private key, the public key and any intermediate keys. Any SSL provider (GoDaddy, Entrust, Network Solutions) should have instructions on how to create your SSL from Linux. I would assume all of them would simply use the OpenSSL tool to create the private key and the CSR that you send to them.

By default a zencert.pem certificate is possible to be used and is not able to be deleted. The uploaded certificate file must contain a PEM-encoded certificate, optionally a certificate chain from a known Certificate Authority to your server certificate and a PEM-encoded private key (not password protected).
