Hi, I'm running v2stable on VMware ESX as a standalone. I am load
balancing to 2 servers on port 80 and 443. Intermittently the load
balanced IP 172.16.101.10 (eth0:1) just disappears off the network and
is not pingable. Load balancing of web traffic stops Is pingable on the
loadbalancer. If I run on the LB
/usr/bin/arping -c 2 -A -I eth0 172.16.101.10
it is pingable externally and load balancer starts working again. Spoke
to Zen LB support and they suggest it is a VMware issue, switch? Can
anyone give advice on how VMware switch should be configure. I intend to
run a cluster again once this problem is fixed.
