More observations. if I attempt to go to a restricted website, dansguardian
returns the blocked message, so I'm assuming ZLB is transferring the request to
the back end server, when i try to hit a vaild website, like google.com, this
is where it fails. just of note:the backend servers have no access to internet.
it only has the farm network adapter in it, which is at 172.16.100.150 and it
can only see itself and 192.168.144.100 when ping'non my home setup I had the
172 network adapter and a 2nd one that was in my DMZ which had access to the
internet, could this be the reason why its failing to return any web sites ?

Can you send us the gateways you have configured for every zen ip?
Can you send us the farm configuration too?
Has the proxy server any log file? Can you send it us, please?

Hi All,
Its been a while, had to get a real job.....
was using ZenLB at home with good results, so I am attempting to see if we can
utilize at my office.
Goal: Zen LB balancing Dansguardian Proxy/Content filtering using port 8080.
I think its kinda of working, when I set my firefox browser to the proxy
settings:
192.168.144.100:8080
The proxy server is refusing connections
Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.
Setup:
ZenLB
Main IP: 192.168.144.100
2nd IP: 172.16.100.10 (real NIC)
Proxy Node 1:
IP: 172.16.100.150
GW: 172.16.100.10
from the the dansgaurdian node i can ping 172.16.100.10 and 192.168.144.100 --
i cannot access any public internet sites
from the ZenLB i can ping 172.16.100.150
any suggestions..
