Hi John, it's normal, closed TCP connections needs several minutes before
disappear from the operating system, so I suspect that 2290 it's the
maximum number of closed connections reached in the farm. Could you attach
a screenshot to confirm?

The number of closed connections is a value at tcp level, not http, so it
doesn't mean that the user has closed the browser or the session has been
removed.

The real problem will be when you detect a lot of pending connections.
