Hello,
I have configured 2 farms for the same virtual IP but with two different
virtual ports, one for 80 port and another farm for 443 port. In both farms
i have configured two "real ip servers". For the farm with 80 port two real
servers on 80 port and for the farm with 443 port two real servers on 443
port.
The second real server of both farms doesn't exist. I have invented the ip
to test if the status of the second real server is down. But in the farm on
port 443 this real server with the ip invented is down but in the 80 port
real server the status of the server shows up.
The result is that traffic going to farm 443 works fine because the real
server configured with the irreal ip is down but the traffic going to farm
80 fail because this server is up.
Why the farm on port 80 not detects that the server with the irreal ip is not
raised?
