Thanks Emilio, it works!
The key is for node 1 (active) priority need to set to 0, like you said in
archived email.
Thanks again,

Hi
I created Active-Standy Farm for web Port 443 with LB Algorithm- Priority:
connections to highest priority available
and higher priority given to node 1 to be the active node

Server 0, Address 172.21.6.206, port 443, Max connections 512, weight 0,
Priority 10
Server 1, Address 172.21.6.207, port 443, Max connections 512, weight 0,
Priority 5

Above setting wasn't working as when i refresh my page, it keeps hitting node 1
and node 2 alternate.

Then, i turned on "Enable client ip address persistence through memory."

Once persistence was set, client connections stays on node1.
Then, to test failover, when node 1 was turned off, client connections hit node
2. (which is correct to failover)

When node 1 was back up, new client connections hit node 1 (as expected).
However, previous client connections that hit node 2 never switched back to
node 1, even though browser was closed and also cache was cleared.

Is "client ip address persistence through memory" really needed since LB
algorithm is set to Priority?
if it is required, how can i implement so that, client connections that hit
node 2 to hit node 1 (with browser close and reopen) after node 1 comes back.

Please let me know the correct setup for simple active - standby farm with 2
nodes.

Thanks in advance,

Kyaw
