Hi,
I had the same problem and resolved with a workaround:

made a backup copy of etc/apt/sources.list of 3.05 versionreplaced content of
etc/apt/sources.list with the 3.03 version (You can do that in GUI or in Shell)
so that the etc/apt/sources.list is like the following
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ stable main non-free
deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ stable main non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/ stable/updates main
deb-src http://security.debian.org/ stable/updates main
#official repository for Zen Load Balancer Updates
deb http://zenloadbalancer.sourceforge.net/apt/x86 v3/

executed the process of update/upgrade: this installed a new Kernel with
Hyper-V modules inside.
Hope this help.

Bye.

Angelo.

Thanks you Justin for your reports. Can you do any test for us?

Once you install your zen iso 3.03 in your hyperv with synthetic network cards
try to update to 3.05 through apt repository.

ensure that your /etc/apt/sources.list is as follows:

cat /etc/apt/sources.list

#official repository for Debian

deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ squeeze main non-free

deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ squeeze main non-free

deb http://security.debian.org/ squeeze/updates main

deb-src http://security.debian.org/ squeeze/updates main

#official repository for Zen Load Balancer Updates

deb http://zenloadbalancer.sourceforge.net/apt/x86 v3/

Later run in command line the next one

apt-get update

and finally

apt-get install zenloadbalancer

it would be very appreciated If you could paste us the entire output

Regards!

Good morning,

Well, I built two Zen Load Balancer virtual machines on two different Windows
Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V
hosts, both using the 3.05 iso. Both didn’t recognize the Synthetic adapter. I
attached the 3.03 iso and rebuilt the virtual machines, and they had no problem
seeing the Synthetic adapter.

I am just trying to make you aware. I don’t know the root difference.

Justin the kernel of zen 3.03 and 3.05 are the same, we only updated the
package zenloadbalancer and some new dependency for GSLB.

Just an FYI

I tried the 3.05 iso in Hyper-V 2012, and the Hyper-V Integration modules would
not install with
the usual - apt-get install debian-archive-keyring; aptitude update; aptitude
upgrade - that I did with 3.03.

I was able to get 3.03 iso on Hyper-V 2012 and did the mentioned commands to
update Zen to 3.05 and
Hyper-V Integration modules with no issues.

I installed the new version today...

I have configured a l4xnat farm using the following settings:

The farm is working fine, but nether the farm, nor the real server status is
showing any connections.

When I change the farm protocol type to tcp the connections are showing up.

Is this a known issue?

Should I create 2 farms one for TCP and one for UDP for beeing able to see the
connections?

best regards

Chris
