Zen team,

Is there an easy way to search through the mail archive to find solutions to
issues other users have had? I could not find anything on my recent issues, so
I thought I would send them in. Hopefully I can save someone some time.

1. ZenLB 3.0.5 ships on Debian Squeeze. This version of debian ships with
ntpdate 4.2.6p2 which has a bug in it preventing it from syncing with a windows
NTP server. The next release of ntpdate has corrected the bug however it is not
in the Squeeze repo's. My solution was to swap Squeeze with wheezy in the apt
sources and then pull down the updated ntpdate 4.2.6p5. Now my ZenLB's tie sync
with my windows DC without issue. (Remember to reset your apt repo's)

2. Cluster support on Hyper-v. Inorder to get the VRRP broadcasts to work on
hyper-v I had to "enable spoofing of the mac address". Once that was in place
my cluster no longer dropped into active/active state.

Thanks for the support and ZenLB.

Joseph
