Colin Waring's instructions on upgrading from Debian 6 to Debian 6LTS seem
to have done the trick, at least as far as my initial testing reveals.

Thanks!

The standard Zen iso will put you on v6 Squeeze which is no longer
supported.

As long as you are running i386 or amd64 you can use LTS which will keep
you in updates until Feb 2016 with the instructions here:

https://wiki.debian.org/LTS/Using

The only bit they don?t include in the instructions is how to install the
key for the LTS repo which is one command that you?ll need to run before
apt-get update.

apt-get install debian-keyring debian-archive-keyring

With that done you should get glibc which is patched against GHOST.

All the best,
Colin Waring.
