Hello, greetings to everyone on the list.
I'm trying to load balance SMTP traffic to a pair of Linux servers running
postfix, and i have a couple of doubts about the implementation.
First, i tried both a TCP and a L4xNAT type of farm (NAT mode) , which one is
preferable?
Secondly, i've seen that on the Postfix logs if the SMTP clients comes in
thorught the Zen load balancer only the Zen machine IP address is logged; this
way we loose the information about the sending SMTP client IP address and
hostname. Is there any way to work around this issue?
Maybe it is possible to configure some sort of logging on the Zen machine
itself?
Thanks a lot, have a nice day!
Lorenzo
