Hi Brent 1. It does not matter where you create the private key, but I created it on the server itself , 2. SSH to the zen load balncer and login as root 3. openssl genrsa -out privkey.pem 2048 4. openssl req -new -key privkey.pem -out cert.csr 5. open the cert.csr file on notepad and paste at GoDaddy SSL re-key or a new certificate request 6. Once you have received the certificate from GoDaddy (It should be a .zip file with two files, the server certificate, and gdig2.crt, Download the root cert. from the GoDaddy repository (gdroot-g2.crt). 7. Open a notepad, and paste the content of each file one after the other in the following order. Private key Server crt. gdig2.crt (intermediate-bundle) gdroot-g2.crt (root cert) 8. Save the file ex: server-cert-combine.crt 9. Rename the server-cert-combine.crt to server-cert-combine.pem 10. Upload the file onto zen load balancer and make sure the upload file is successful, 11. On the farms, select the server-cert-combine.pem and restart the farm. 12. That's all.
Hope that finds you well. best regards Steffen -----Original Message----- From: Brent Hunter [mailto:br...@ptbmedia.com] Sent: Montag, 2. Mai 2016 00:09 To: zenloadbalancer-support@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: [Zenloadbalancer-support] SSL I have created a CSR and used this to create my cert. ( comodo ) bought from namecheap. Cert is issued no problem and I download the zip with the bundle the crt and the p7k. When I load the zip it says it can't find any of the files. When I load the crt it says I have the wrong extension. I converted the crt to a pem and even tho I get an error it added the cert to zen. Now when I assign the cert to a farm the farm will not restart to apply the changes.... Any help would be great.
