Zen cluster uses UCARPD (vrrp implementation) so vswitches have to allow
multicast packets, also Hyper-V has to allow to change the MAC for given IPs,
in Vmware similar field is called "forged transmission" = Accept.

Hello,
I’ve setup 2 VM’s, each running an instance of the zenloadbalancer v3.10.1. I’m
having some issues with clustering and was wondering if someone could shed some
light on what might be the issue.
Here is my setup:
* Local hostname: net-lb-01, IP: 10.0.112.41
* Remote hostname: net-lb-02, IP: 10.0.112.42
* Cluster VIP: 10.0.112.45
* Cluster type: Active-Passive
Issues:
* RSA connection fine, cluster configures fine, but some settings do not
migrate between the appliances
* Failing over doesn’t bring the opposite interfaces/farms/VIP’s up or down
correctly
* Failing over never actually takes net-lb-01 down, have to turn off the VM,
but have to manually bring up farms, etc
* Web interface shows issues with the cluster:
