Are you sure that the Maintenance Window was enabled? By default, the
maintenance window is created disabled. Of course, you need to have the
latest software from SVN for this feature, but I'm confident you have
the latest. 8-)
If you enable it, it should fire within one config cycle, even if the
time period has already started.
