The default configuration works best with snmp-informant (http://snmp-informant.com). They have a freely-downloadable extension that allows CPU/Disks to be monitored via SNMP. Other than that, just turn on SNMP. You can configure your zenoss machine as the trap host for additional events.

Hi,

Please help me out with this.

I have installed zenoss sucessfully. I want to monitor few windows servers with the help of Zenoss. WE do not have any SNMP aware switches. If is just turn on the SNMP service of windows will that be good enough ? What are the rest of the things which i need to take in account to make zenoss work with Windows ?

Tonroad.
