I tried it for my cisco router and my main firewall, nothing there.

Two possibilities here:

1) the devices you are looking at have no routes associated with them, or
2) the code is buggy

This code was only tested on one Zenoss devbox, so there's a good chance it's 
the latter. I'm in the process of setting up a populated zenoss instance with a 
local test network and (if it's #2) will be able to fix the graphs when that's 
completed.
