Here's something to try:
Way down at the end of $ZENHOME/Products/ZenStatus/zenagios.py, change:
reactor.run(installSignalHandlers=False)
To:
reactor.run()
I'm getting a timeout intermittently, and this fixed it.

You probably need to turn off "Use SSH" because this command does not need
to be run remotely.

I did find some errors on a testing plugin:

When I issue the same command on linux prompt:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] log]$ /usr/local/zenoss/libexec/check_tcp -H SNFEX01 -p
80 TCP OK - 0.001 second response time on port
80|time=0.001391s;0.000000;0.000000;0.000000;10.000000
I can't see any heartbeat errors, however it seems to reset (clear)
every 1800 sec

Antonio,
Can you look in the $ZENHOME/log/zenagios.log file and see if there
are any errors there? You can also run zenagios in the foreground by
doing:
zenagios run -v10
To get more information.

btw, I'm getting keepalive alerts with zenagios but, since I didn't
find any message in the user mails, I'm still trying to find what is
wrong.
Thanks again,
