Hi every one,
Thnaks for your efforts, but I still have my problem unresolved, when I add this line of instruction as specified by the installation guide,
to the /etc/sudoers config file. I get the following error sudo: /bin/python: command not found.
but when i removed the entry of the above command from my /etc/sudoers config file
I see zenping starting.................................
Password:
when I typed in the password for zenoss
it complains of user not in sudo
and displays zenping stopped
Please I will appreciate any urgent solution to this problem so as to migrate the application to a live server as fast as possible.
regards,
Chibuzo

Gavin,
It should work fine with python 2.3.5 (that's what I use every day).
Maybe you have an issue with finding the wrong mysql?? Make sure the
mysql 5 bin dir is before the mysql 4 one.
