Hi Joel, I am very new to zenoss myself, but I will give you
step-by-step for the little bit that I know.

When I configure a Windows server for monitoring I make sure of the
following steps:

1. Windows has the Microsoft SNMP service installed and configured with
my community
2. I have installed the free version of snmp-informant
http://www.snmp-informant.com/

In zenoss

1. Go to 'Add Device' and type in the name of the server or the server's
IP address in the provided spot
2. Select /devices/server/Windows section when adding the device
3. For the anal retentive among us, type in the community name and
select the proper location and hardware type for the device. I don't
think these affect the modelling process, but I am not sure.

That will get you a good basic model for getting CPU, diskspace, paging,
and ethenet card usage graphed properly.

If anyone can add a step-by-step for monitoring windows services, I
would really appreciate it.
