version zenwin-0.22 and zenoss-0.21 don't work together. You need to
upgrade zenoss or down grade zenwin. Should have new zenwin and
zenoss 0.22.3 up this week as well as a new appliance (vmware image).

Thanks, this works fine for zenwin.py, but python zeneventlog.py -C
etc\zeneventlog.cfg reports now the following (and zenwinmodeler
similar):

I tried using the same cfg file for both zenwin and zeneventlog,
but no effect.
The original cfg files work on zenoss 0.22.2 which I am able to run
now on suse 10.1, which I would prefer. But it runs with certain
problems (I will open a new thread for that one).
