Hi Joe,

Are you just collecting the Zenoss installation on itself? I'm trying to discern if the issue is Centos-64 as host, or as device, or both.

Net-snmp (which is used by snmpwalk) is very permissive about the data it will accept from devices. Zenoss is more restrictive, and so it finds many problems in the response packets.

Also, what version of Zenoss are you running? We added patches to workaround many bad SNMP values coming from 64-bit machines, and I want to make sure you have them.

Hello,

I'm running centos 64bit with the latest snmp package and every time i collect data from Zenoss the agent hangs and I have to restart. I can do a snmpwalk from the cli fine. Has anyone else run into this? Also I have noticed some of the snmp data gets populated but not all. The last collection field under device does not get updated but the Uptime does. Is this a timeout issue? I thought maybe so i bumped up the timeout to 10 sec and no luck.
