UI maybe hosed because you need to clear your cache. 1.0 is workinggreat for me :)

Kristopher,

This bug was fixed in the trunk on 11/3.  If you don't want to
upgrade to the latest release you might try adding a line to your
copy of $ZENHOME/Products/ZenModel/MonitorClass.py:

class MonitorClass(ZenModelRM, Folder):
     #isInTree = 1
     meta_type = "MonitorClass"
     sub_class = 'MonitorClass'            # <-- Try adding this line
