Currently, it does only as as as an annotator for humans. Eventually we will be linking devices and groups of device to individuals for on- call administration and monitoring on a per-person, per device basis. You can currently account for on-call schedules using the scheduling for alerting, but by linking users to a device it would be more a more global-based system.

Hi,

I haven't been able to figure out from the manual, nor from mail archive searches,
what is the purpose of "Administered Objects"?

As far as I can tell it doesn't actually affect alerting. Is it just basically
an annotation for the benefit of humans looking at the devices?

Thanks.
