the program is zenmodeler. The collection plugins are in $ZENHOME/
DataCollector/plugins. You can run zenmodeler in the foreground by
doing:
zenmodeler run -d ADEVICE -v10

I have had the similar results you described...
Ignoring CpuMap
found the cpu information on one windows box...
but none of the
others... as well, it did not detect the CPU
information on any
linux hosts... all Dell and HP boxes.

I know that CPU statistics on Linux has been
very iffy in the
past. I have read thru some of the archived
threads -- but can
still not get CPU statistics (Model/etc under
the Hardware tab)
working on my Dell and HP boxes. I have set
zCollectorIgnorePlugins to CpuMap, but still get
no statistics.
I have also installed SNMP informant on my
Win2003 servers, and
get graphs now with CPU statistics, but the
Hardware tab is still
empty (no CPU info).
Anyone have any idea how to populate the
hardware tab with CPU
information?
