Good thoughts... 1.1 allows events to be added manually through the
UI. It also adds events for any changes detected by zenmodeler. We
have a ticket for adding documents and text comments to a device...

This is done in the trunk. :) You can add comments in the log tab of
an event detail. Also if an event is acked or deleted the user that
did it is automatically logged.

This is sort of there (I opened a ticket a while ago for it). If
you go
to the events list every one has a magnifying glass with a '+' in
it over on
the right. Clicking on that will bring up a window and at the top
will be
a tab that says "Log". You can add comments there.
What I would like to see is to have another icon in the list that
looks
like a little note to signify that there are notes on the event
(so if the
icon doesn't exist then there are no notes on that particular event.
