I'm not sure why each of these Device Classes exists, but there is no
difference between Network, Switch or ContentSwitch. They are just
there for organization.
There is no documentation on the intended meanings of the Device Class
paths. They are used to organize your devices by type and to define
"like settings" such as zProperties, PerfConf, etc, across similar devices.
