The device name after the "-d" needs to be _exactly_ what Zenoss thinks that device's name is. On my computer, localhost is often "localhost.localdomain", so I would do this:

$ zencommand run -d localhost.localdomain -v 10

Zencommand is simply not running anything. It may be because localhost is the wrong name. It may be because no commands have been configured for localhost. If you see a COMMAND in the PerfConf and it has been enabled, then you should see it run by zencommand.

Hey Erik,

Does it tell you any thing ?...
And isn't there a way to check the state of the "check_http" plugin In the zenoss application?... like other services?.

You can see what's going on by running zencommand in the foreground like this.

zencommand run -d YOURBOX -v10

It seem that I have a small problem....
After I have installed the Plugin and configure the command in
Zenoss --> /Devices /Server /Windows /S82410 /PerfConf / Websitecheck I added "/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_http -H www.zenoss.com - u / -s
"Aggddbout"   "
At the command template and filled the information as from - >
(http://dev.zenoss.org/trac/wiki/HowToNagiosCreateTemplate)

It doesn’t give me any warning or even a sign that It's working
But from the command line I check it out and it's working

The command I typed is :
"/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_http -H www.zenoss.com -u / -s "Aggddbout""

Help ...?....
Where can I find the error output ....?
Thanks,
Cohen yaniv

Also if you are using WMI you need the ports for DCOM... Can't say I
know what these are off the top of my head though. :)

Hey,

I want to monitors a remote servers (windows) and they are behind FW,

I would like to now what ports should I open in the remote FW, so
ZENOSS can monitor them.

Also what ports should be open in my local FW.

Thanks...
