I started playing around with SNMP traps today and have a few questions. I am using 1.1.0. My test setup includes a Dell PowerEdge server running OpenManage. The SNMP client on the Windows 2003 machine is setup to send traps to the IP of the ZenOSS box. I am testing by unplugging one of the redundant PSU's from the PowerEdge. I have imported the proper Dell MIB's to zenoss using zenmib. OMA detects the redundancy failure and is configured to send traps on all warnings. Nothing is coming thru into zentrap.log. It is 0byted: -rwxrwxr-x 1 zenoss wheel 0 Jan 28 04:02 zentrap.log Is there a simple way I can test zentrap? My box doesn't seem to be receiving any traps (or Zenoss does not know what to do with them). Any ideas? Thanks, Josh Baird
