Loren,

You can also test SNMP-Informant with snmpwalk:

> snmpwalk -v1 -c<community> <server> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9600

If you get back data then SNMP Informant is up and running.

1. If I understand it, Zenwin needs to be installed on only one machine on the
network. Is that correct?

Yes, one machine is fine.

2. How do you know if Zenwin is getting all the data, i.e. using WMI?

Well, you can start by checking WMI connectivity
(http://dev.zenoss.org/trac/wiki/HowToTestWmi) if that checks out, you
should be getting all of the data. WMI only works on XP and Windows 2003.

3. How do you know if SNMP-Informant is working properly?

Graphs. The way Zenoss 1.1 is configured by default, you won't get any graphs for Windows devices that don't have SNMP-Informant installed, so
if you have graphs being generated, the SNMP-Informant is working.

John
