Instead of Agent=zenprocess, you can do Event Class is /Status/OSProcess

Subject: [zenoss-users] Question about alert and processes

I apologize for bothering you guys again. I am falling in love with Zenoss,
but I need help connecting some things. I have setup to monitor a process
(we have old apps that have to run 24 hours, but do not work as services). I
am seeing the process in Zenoss and it is being monitored. My issue is that
I can't figure out how to set an alert when the process is stopped.

My alert is this

Event state = New
Ip address is 192.168.56.81 (ip of the server)
Production state = production
Severity >= Error
Agent is zenprocess.

Am I in the right direction, or have I gone off the deep-end?

Thanks again,

Loren Erwin
