Hi John,
If you can get me the packets sent to/from to that device by
zenperfsnmp, I can see if there's a decoding error. I usually get the
packets by stracing zenperfsnmp against that one device.

Hi John,
I've just had to setup monitoring of our SQL 2005 server. I did it
using a combination of FreeTDS and a nagios plugin from nagios exchange
as there is no SNMP support for SQL 2005. With this setup you can
communicate direct with the server using TDS and return all the
performance information in a single query and parse the useful bits into
Zenoss.
I had to do it for performance issues also.

Cheers,

Thanks for that Ben, I think i'll try SNMP a little further before I
give up and go that route ;-)
Incidentally, I can now pull out individual data from indivdual OIDs
using snmpwalk, but when I try to monitor one through Zenoss as a graph,
and run zenperfsnmp run -d server_name -v10 I get "Error reading value
for "mssqlSrvInfoUserConnections" on server_name (oid
.1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.4.1.1.2.1.16 is bad)"
So, I'm obviously not doing something right.
