Hello Greg,

I'm a newbie too, so no worries! The more questions asked here, the better the tool and community will become!

Did you run the modeler against the device (or wait long enough for it to auto-model, which I think can be up to 12 hours)? Before it can gather stats, it needs to pull the baseline data. You can hit Collect Configuration from the Manage tab, or for more detail, run from the command line with:

$ zenmodeler run -v10 -d<devicename>

That should print out plenty of detail, including whether and what it pulled from the device.

I'm not sure if it matters, but I've kept my perf data under a template named Device. So I have a path of /Storage/NetApp, which the class NetApp having this custom template under PerfConf. Then my netapp device is underneath (/Storage/NetApp/netapp1), and zenoss gathers all the data as expected.

Let me know if this doesn't work, and we'll try something else.

This worked, thanks! I am in the process of adding more items to be monitored. I will post my template back to the list when done.

Thanks,
Will

I've imported the RRDTemplate and renamed it to "NetApp" and
restarted zenperfsnmp. I'm still getting nothing. Sorry to sound
like a newbie, but what else do I need to do to get this template to
start making some pretty graphs?

Thanks,
Will
