I just discovered something on my zenoss installation.

I have a switch that has approximately 100 interfaces on it. It has multiple
VLANs configured so it has multiple IPs. When I did the discovery zenoss
detected all of the ips and added the device 3 times, so I was monitoring all
100 interfaces 3 times putting unnecessary load on the switch as well as the
zenoss server itself. Each IP has a different DNS name so that when we do
traceroutes and other diagnostics we can easily see which VLAN we are dealing
with.

Is there someway zenoss can detect that they IPs are on a device it already
monitors?
