Hi Richard,

Reports seem to be limping along a bit better now (r4181). Thanks for letting us know (and your patience on the SVN tree).

The reports are really broken in the SVN feed, getting ready for zenpacks I
guess.
Also the New managed buttons in devices are running deviceOrganizerManage.
It's looking good tho

Hi,
I agree zenbackup.py seems broken, I guess we are the QA team :) Here is
what I did and sort of worked for me, I copied the Data files from my old
$ZENHOME/var to my $ZENHOME/var.
I stopped zenoss then ran this on the old machine:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] -uzenoss -p events > events.sql scp the file over to
my new instance.
and then ran:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] -uroot -p events < events.sql

and voila, everything was there.

Good luck

Am I missing something really obvious?

zenbackup --restore --file ... actually *clobbers* the tarball from which I'm trying to restore! Both 1.1.0 and 1.1.1.

I still can't figure out how to cleanly migrate a working 1.1.1 system from my development system to my production system.
