Hi John,

We don't produce error messages about a missing process if the device fails to respond to Ping.

What does this command print if you run it when the process is down?

   $ zenprocess run -v 10 -d mydevice

-Eric

I just downloaded and installed the new zenoss. It appears to work for some
things but not others. Following the instructions in the quickstart guide to
add a new process to monitor, the process does show up in the devices. However,
when I shut off SSH, the zenoss still shows that it's up, even when I am
absolutely certain beyond the shadow of a doubt ssh is off. It even shows that
it's up when the machine is down. Is there something else I must do to make
zenoss monitor ssh? The same problem happens with SMPT, POP, IMAP, HTTP, and
NNTP.

What am I doing wrong?
