hmm..there is really no reason why we can't  (we, or rrd ). I mean, in each
check to any nic we get the differential of  traffic sent/received... it would
just be a matter of adding ... right? (seems to easy... and it's late and I'm
tired...)

after a very VERY quick check, RTG ( *not* MRTG) seems to provide that out of
the box (layeredtech.com provide these graphs and they have the total accounted
for @ the end of each info line)

BTW, any plans to support RTG graphs?
