You need to run an instance of the new monitor. You need to run another zenping.
You need to set the "monitor" property for the new zenping, and start it up with that config. But, you will probably need to change the name since it will want to use the same file for start/stop. Here's one approach: Copy the zenping script to myping. Change "zenping" to myping, except where it refers to zenping.py. Go edit $ZENHOME/etc/myping, add "monitor myping" to the file. Add myping to the zenoss script. ------------------------ Eric Newton -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=4643#4643 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
