The hard part is having lots of devices with the same Manage IP address.
First, you would have to add the devices manually, or via discovery from
the remote instance, since modeling of the device is done from the main
Zenoss (Zope) instance.
Second, Zenoss would have to let you have lots of devices with the same
Management IP. I'm not sure that this will work. It may, and many
people have asked about this ability, but I have not actually tested it.
Here's another idea:
You could use the http plugin check, and run it on a remote device using
SSH. You could add X checks for each remote site. Essentially you
would be monitoring lots of stuff on a single reachable device.
