I have several workstations that are showing the correct name in the Device list, but the incorrect ip address. When I go to the status screen for the device the SNMP sysName is incorrect and the Manage IP address is incorrect. And the SNMP sysName and Manage IP don't macth either, the sysname actually has a different ip. Is there a way for me to manually change information, without going to sql commands? If not, where is this data in the database, so I can correct it? The DNS information for the machine is correct.
resolv.conf looks like this: search internal.vicad.com nameserver 192.168.56.6 nameserver 192.168.56.12 domain internal.vicad.com Nsswitch.conf looks like this: passwd: compat group: compat shadow: compat hosts: dns files mdns networks: files protocols: db files services: db files ethers: db files rpc: db files netgroup: nis I have had this issue for awhile, I delete all the data and re-run zendisc and they show up correct and then get changed somehow. Thanks for the assistance, Loren Erwin The Victoria Advocate www.vicad.com 361-574-1277
