The weird part is Zenoss doesn't even seem to be scanning this. The count
never goes up (unlike icmp errors).
If the system is scanning using that performance template every 60 seconds it
should clear it once the error is gone...unless I'm seeing how this system
works incorrectly?
Josh,
Try restarting the zencommand daemon. Your count on the error should
increment every 5 minutes (or is it 60 seconds in your case?) as long
as the error is present. Logically it makes sense that the event would
clear once the command got a good response, but this doesn't appear to
be the way it works.
