To find the performance monitor settings you click "Monitors" in the web interface, then click on your performance monitor. Click on the Edit tab and there should be something called SNMP cycle interval, or something like that. Sometimes you can still see graphs after you remove the RRD files. This will only happen briefly until the pre-generated image expires.
