Sorry but that never did work.  I gave up on it.  I personally consider Zenoss 
working with XAMPP to be a top priority (even if I am biased).  XAMPP is just 
such a super easy, friendly environment to work with, and it pretty much runs 
on any box / *nix flavor.  It's very cut and dry to use, up to date, easy to 
operate, and I still cannot get Zenoss to budge on it after several days of 
working on it.  At this point, I have given up hope and I'm trying to build an 
Ubuntu LAMP box now and I'm going to try Zenoss on it.

I really hope to see XAMPP and Zenoss play nicely together, the sooner the 
better.  I feel I have given it every opportunity thus far, and I've tried 
every trick, and they are just not working.

Anyone who reads this, please keep me posted on any advancements or successes 
between XAMPP and Zenoss.
