You only have to install ZenWin on one server, but the 2.0 betas do not
even need that to do WMI. However, you do need proper account /
permission to poll WMI on the servers. THe big downside to not
installing performant is you do not get CPU + Memory from the default
windows SNMP client.
I am not sure if WMI will provide that info in the 2.0 series (or if it
can?).

I am testing the VM appliance to see if this product will work in our environment. I mainly have a windows environment. I enabled snmp on 4 servers and collected data for all.
After reading through the docs and observing what I have collected it would appear that I am receiving information that is "not normal". From what I gather (and please correct me if I am wrong), in order for me to see Winservices under the OS tab, I need to install Zenwin onto the servers. I have not installed Zenwin onto the servers. However, 2 of the servers have the Winservices and 2 servers do not under the OS tab.
I started the vm appliance from scratch once again and re-collected the information but this time received different stats. 1 of the servers now had the Winservices and 3 do not.
I would rather not have to install extra services nor extra clients beyond the
native SNMP agent that comes with Windows. Is this normal behavior? Some
clarfication on Winservices would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.
